Smithfield Christian Church is committed to the great commission our Lord gave to His followers. We have Mission/Benevolent programs covering Local, State, National, and the International arena.
Located in the western mountains of Virginia in the town of Grundy. Sam Hurley started the school in 1920, and since has ministered to over 20,000 children from a wide variety of backgrounds. The
school is the fulltime year round home as well as school for these children, from infants thru high school. Every aspect of the home and school is based on the Bible. The sole support of the Mountain
Mission School is individuals, businesses, and the Christian churches.
"Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it".
Central India Christian Mission
CICM was founded by Ajai Hall in 1983. Ajai was educated at Dallas Christian College, Roanoke Bible College, and Cincinnati Bible Seminary, and a PHD from the University of Central India. He and his family returned to native India to serve in the heart of India. The children's ministry has seen new leaders rise up to teach their own people. Children once in slavery now teach of freedom in Christ. CICM plants new Churches through out central India. Medical evangelism is healing their bodies. A translation ministry works to provide literature in Hindi.
The mission of Kentucky Christian University is to educate students for Christian leadership and service in the Church and in professions throughout the world.
Mid Atlantic Christian University (formerly: Roanoke Bible College)
Roanoke's mission is to educate men and women for career and volunteer Christian Service. Established in 1948 in Elizabeth City, NC, RBC continues to train for the kingdom, having students through out the world.
Virginia Evangelizing Fellowship
The ministry of the VEF is Pursuing Kingdom Growth in the Commonwealth of Virginia & beyond. We accomplish this by Providing Resources (Partnership Project: Ministerial Salary Assistance, Land & Building Loan Fund, Consulting), Planting High-Impact Churches (Virginia Vision), and Promoting Fellowship & Learning (Conventions, Seminars, Training, Retreats).
Tidewater Christian Service Camp, nicknamed Camp Rudolph after the owner of the donated land on which the camp is situated, has provided a Christian environment for summer camp programs and retreats since 1972.
H.A.S.T.E.N. International
The mission of HASTEN (Health And Salvation To Every Nation) International is dedicated to preaching the Gospel of Christ through free quality medical care.
